For this discussion, let’s assume that all fears w.r.t. changed taxation structure for F&O come true - 1% TDS [like Crypto], flat 30% tax rate etc. Maybe let’s assume that F&O activity just stops due to this taxation for the sake of this discussion.
Has someone thought of a valid and clear plan B on how to de-risk yourself?
That plan might include migrating out from the country as well - feasible and clear options. As no one has discussed here which countries even allow F&O, are migration friendly, have low living expenses and taxes etc.
The topics raised by you seems concerning and also worried about… we have to discuss these, cause there are many retailer who got knowledge in option, yet lack of capital bowing them to trade in 1 lot or maybe 2 lot, which was one of the major source for running there day to day life.
Yet they are not able to change the country, so what the question is what will the possible steps if the rules gonna implemented in these last week of July ( 1 month away only )
they will never treat f&o and equity like crypto. that will never happen in india. for that one must understand why we (india) do not like crypto or indirectly dont want people to use it by imposing more taxes and regulations on it. usa is finding ways to get rid of their huge dollar debt (and maintaining its value) and it is slowly coming to light on how fraudly the dollar value stands in reality and how it is printed mercilessly without rules. crypto is one of their solutions to wipe clean their a** and get back control as everything is digital and they can clean out all of their debt as there are no governing bodies or regulators in it. so if every country starts using this crypto, usa can again remain top by exploiting further the south asian countries as they will control it without any rules. this india knows and understands, and so does not want this to happen, obviously for good reasons, it has always stood against such evil plans - but they cant say it openly. thus indians should never use crypto and encourange others not too, but hey everyone only thinks about filling their pokets, that is why no one sees all this. i dont blame anyone, with so much fraud, corruption and taxes, and ministers and services looting the general mass, why would i not want to be selfish? i will also be looking to find alternative solutions just to fill my pocket.
