Dhan terminal vs Zerodha Terminal

Recently, Dhan also launched its trading terminal, Dext, and I feel it is much better and seems to have been designed with far more thought than Zerodha’s terminal. It also appears to offer many more options-trading features compared to Zerodha, since Zerodha does not have its own dedicated options platform and instead partners with Sensibull

Dext terminal felt a bit complicated to use very colorful and there almost a little too much going on for something that should be simple

I would agree with you on the colourful aspect. Dhan, as a trading app and website, has always felt more complicated than Zerodha’s app and website. However, when it comes to building a trading terminal, things naturally become more complex, especially when trying to fit multiple tools and widgets into one place.

This is where I find the placement and adjustment of widgets much more organized in Dhan’s terminal. For example, I tried placing an OI graph on both platforms. In Dhan, it automatically adjusts based on the size of the window, whereas in Zerodha, the entire window becomes scrollable. Instead of having a clear view, you end up having to scroll up, down, or sideways to fully analyse it.

Also, Zerodha is yet to integrate many of the features currently provided by Sensibull for options and Streak for technical analysis
