What is the difference b/w required and final margin in basket orders?

If final margin showing is rs 10k and required margin us at 50k, how much margin do we required as funds in the account - 10 or 50K?

Required margin is the margin which will be needed to execute all the orders in the basket, while Final margin is the margin which will be blocked once all orders in the basket have been executed. You can read this post for detailed information on Basket Orders.

@ShubhS9 if I do execute that bucket without the required margin its order will execute or error will occur, if we can execute then any issue like a penalty?

If you don’t have sufficient margins. Some orders, for eg. order for long option position, which require less margin will execute, while order for short position, which requires higher margin will be rejected. There won’t be penalty.

should I have 2,72,761.13 this money or this 1,16,194.88

As explained above, to execute all the orders in the basket, you’ll need sufficient required margin ie. 272,761. The final margin (116,194) will be blocked when all the orders are executed.

Once all the orders in the basket are executed can we withdraw the amount remaining in the funds after the final margin amount is blocked?
