At the time of opening an account with zerodha, under the account opening form it is written that 1st Time DIS SLIP is free for client. But I Haven’t recieved DIS SLIP from zerodha yet. i opened the account on september 2020.
You’ll have to make a request for DIS Booklet, first request is free. The process for requesting DIS Booklet has been explained here.
Also, now you can transfer shares online using CDSL Easiest, this doesn’t require DIS Booklet and is much easier as well. More on CDSL Easiest here.
Thanks for the Reply. I don’t want to tranfer any shares i just asked this question for general knowledge. Also instead of CDSL EASIEST i will us the GIFT STOCKS option by zerodha. Its best.
