I’m able to create mandates with secondary bank accounts and see them active after about 3 days now.
However, I still am not able make a “buy” with a secondary bank account. Only the primary bank account gets listed in the dropdown field when I try to do a manual buy for a fund.
Why so?
@fire23 we are still working on providing a secondary bank account for payments, this was live previously but had to stop providing the option due to issues we were facing with BSE StAR MF like TPV failure, bank rejection, etc. The facility to make payments from secondary bank accounts shall be live in another 1-2 months time on Coin.

Just to confirm, the emandate on secondary bank account is live and will work successfully for SIPs even now, right?

Any update on Coin app dark mode?? Have been asking this for a long time. The bright white interface is not pleasing to the eyes especially in dark. I would like the app to have dark mode (like the kite app). Kindly update when this will be enabled.

@Bhuvan how to delete the coins mandate with ICCL? In console i cudnt find option to delete this ICCL mandate of coin

Hi @Sandeep_Gupta1, the mandate can be deleted after unlinking all the SIPs linked to it. You can do this by going to Profile > Mandates on Coin web and Profile > Payments > Mandates on the Coin app.

@Bhuvan any ETA for making payments from secondary bank account? UPI limit for my primary bank account is 1 lac and hence need to pay from secondary bank (which is a direct settlement bank) to get T day NAV. It’ll be much appreciated.
@Rohan7 this will be live in another one months time frame. Meanwhile if you have an active SIP you can create a mandate from your secondary bank account and map it to the SIP.

unless u r doing 30LPM. u can move the SIP 1 day so 1L can be used for next day.
When will Zerodha introduce UPI mandates for SIP? It will be very helpful.
Hi @goutamjain04, for UPI mandates, we are waiting for some final requirements from banks and exchanges and are hoping to launch this soon.
Currently if you wish to automate your SIPs, you can follow the below method to create mandate:

Created a mandate on Secondary account. Funds got debited on SIP day. Nothing happens for next 4 days and then all the debited amounts reversed. I am sure orders will be cancelled.
I missed my this month SIPs(some of them are AMC SIPs).

Hi Anirban, this might be due to PAN is not linked to your Aadhaar. If your PAN is not linked, you won’t be able to make investments from July 1, 2023. The RTA will reject the order and reverse the amount. It’s best to open a ticket at support.zerodha.com, and our team will have this clarified.
My PAN & Adhaar linked for ages. That is not the case for sure.
