Discretionary trading terminal

Hi @nithin,

I want to build a trading terminal for retail traders using API. Not an algorithmic trading platform. But for discretionary trading. For better trade execution and enhanced risk management features.

Do we still need to get approval from NSE? I remember reading on NSE that approvals are necessary only if you want to become an empanelled vendor or ASP. If we need approval, do softwares like 1Cliq and Stolo are vetted by the compliance team at zerodha?

Whenever I write on the kiteconnect forum, they ask me to connect with compliance team. Things are a little unclear which is why I am writing to you.

Where can I find compliance related regulations on NSE?

This is what Sensibull does, they use broker APIs. AFAIK they aren’t registered with SEBI in any role other than an analyst

Hmmm…?

The exchange requires any front end from where an order is placed to belong to the broker. So you need to convince some broker to get your platform an in house approval.

They seem to be brokers themselves. There is no issue around this.

You need to become a stockbroker.
