Do I have to pay STCG if my total and all income is less than 5 lakhs?

My annual salary is 3 lakhs and stock market gains (mostly Short term) are around 1 lakh Total income including FDr/Saving interest and all is 4.36L
is i am exempted or do i have to pay the taxes.

Hey @DEV_GUPTA,

As your total income falls below ₹7 lakhs, you would be eligible for a tax rebate and hence, you’d not have to pay any taxes if you opt for the new tax regime.
