Do I need to e-verify my original ITR2 if I had e-verified the revised form?

I submitted my ITR2 form then realized one mistake so did not e-verify it.
I revised it and submitted the ITR2 form by making the correction and e-verified it.

Now I am getting messages from the IT department to e-verify my original ITR2 form.
Do I have to e-verify the original form also? I have already done it for the revised form.

Yes, you have to e verify your original ITR as well. However, department will consider your revised ITR only for further processing.

Yes, you need to e-verify your original ITR filed as well. Unless you e-verify your original return, your revised return won’t be processed.
