Do we have to pay Capital gains tax even after paying STT. Especially in case of delivery where we pay on both buy and sell. We also pay STT whether we make profit or loss.

STT is different and Capital Gains Tax is different, you will have to pay Capital Gains Tax even if you pay STT.

Though you can claim STT as expense, as explained by @Quicko here.
