Do you guyz show your turnover trade-wise or script-wise in ITR?

Do you guyz show your turnover trade-wise or script-wise in ITR?

As per the Income Tax Act, taxpayer should report the tradewise turnover and not scripwise turnover. However, if the broker report provides a scripwise data, turnover is reported on scripwise basis.

If you need help of an expert for filing Income Tax Return for trading income, here is an appropriate plan - ITR for Trading Income

is it true scripwise turnover is always less than tradewise?
also if broker does not provide such data to clients - can clients calculate turnover per scripwise and file its accordingly ? @Quicko

@curiousvi

As per the IT Act, you can report either way.
In case you do not have trade wise date, you can calculate your turnover scrip wise and file your return accordingly.

Thanks

What about exposing my trillion dollar options strategy to my tax auditor and pretty much anyone at his office. There needs to be some safeguards.
