Bharat Bond isn’t considered as a cash equivalent.

Only Liquid Funds and Liquid ETF’s are considered as cash components.

  1. My understanding was - only LiquidBees & Liquid ETF is considered as Cash Equivalent. Is “HDFC LIQUID FUND - DIRECT PLAN - GROWTH OPTION” also considered as Cash equivalent?

  2. What are the Pros and Cons of Liquid Fund Vs Liquid Bees/ETF?

  3. Settlement for Liquid Fund - is it same as Liquid Bees?

Yes it is considered as cash equivalent.

Both are almost similar, you can read this post to learn more Liquid funds vs. Liquid ETF/Overnight Funds

Liquid Mutual Funds follow T+1 settlement cycle.

Will the newly launched Bharat Bond Series II (EBBETF0430/EBBETF0431) be allowed to pledge for margin?

If yes, by when can we expect the feasibility in Zerodha?

Waiting for same but no clue when BSE will include it in pledge list
As soon they do, Zerodha will allow
