i beg your pardon aastro guru but i am not agree with your decision , its your life, do whatever you want to do and if you have gutts and strategy you can make it large , vikram i tell you about my brother , he is an computer enginer and doing job with google in USA and leave the job 6 years ago , and went to WALL STREET and look today earning million of bucks , all i want to say do not listen to anybody , its your life make it large . read Sachin Tendulkar autobiography , even his parents want him to become a scientist , but its sir passion that he become MASTER BLASTER.
as a TRADER, definitely not. I know of a successful trader by name Rajesh who isnāt able to find a girl just because he is a trader.
What Nishant is talking about is ppl from other backgrounds, but as far as a trader is concerned, my thoughts are same as that of AstroGuru.
From what Iāve seen and heard, aspiring traders are in awe of professional traders and the other side believes that trading doesnāt fall under āprofessionā category. So whether trading has a better social status is purely dependent on the outlook of the person in front. Though Iāve read about many success stories about trading, especially winners of Zerodha challenge, Iām yet to come across a successful trader in real life. More so, many donāt even want to accept that theyāre traders, GOK why. If I became successful in trading, Iād surely want the world to know that with the right amount of hardwork and perseverance, anyone can became a successful trader. Fingers crossed
unfortunately no better status than working till you succeed , there are reasons for that
one just cant take a scalpel and do a surgery and call himself a surgeon, one just cant take engineering books and build bridges and call himself an engineer, you need some formal education . but as in trading anyone with few thousands and little time to spare can open a trading account and call oneself a trader.(even though he may not be serious about it) ,
its initially irritating to get unwanted caution from people who know nothing about trading (specially your relatives),but dont worry , if you are good at trading the same people will queue up to take your advise.till then just understand you have at least a desire to be free from rat raceā¦ last thing to cross our minds should be what others think of us
happy learning
i agree with Nishant Gargā¦
This is Indiaā¦ if you dress up and get out of home to earn, then you are a good person , and if you earn with some clicks on computer at home, then you are wasting time.
My view is, Stastus can only be recognised by the bank balance you earned by your Hard Work and Dedicationā¦
Just like two chess player playing game is exciting, but if you view their game and constantly watching it, you become boredā¦ So making a career in Trading is still not permissible in INDIA in our so called SAMAAJ.
Most of our highly qualified SAMAAJ think trading is a gamble, but the reality is Trading is not gamble, you(SAMAAJ) are gambler ā¦
Go for itā¦Warren buffet is not a gambler, he is athe businessman
I have worked with an MNC bank for several years. I recently quit. Now is do trading full time.I had to shift to a new place recently. I had to tell the new landlord that I still work with that co. to avoid unwanted explanations which i hate giving since I was a kid. Trading as a profession is not even known in India. Mostly you will only horrible stories about people losing huge sums of money and stuff.
Personally I donāt think you have to prove to anyone what you are doing. Even if you tell them that you are a trader, the chances are slim that they ll get it
Good question! I personally am not getting any warm welcome, if I say I trade the markets.
yes ā¦many times we are seen as a gamblerā¦not businessmanā¦but what we can do is can trade as a companyā¦that need to incorporate a NBFC and then trade that combo will work good personally i know few cosā¦
if we lie that im a realtorā¦then we receive a best welcomeā¦it seems we have to start another business simultaneously while trading the marketsā¦maybe a man power consultancy, logistic service, realty service, financing,IT service etcā¦but when we are 100% focused in market we tend to missout at timesā¦but with other businesses with hand impossible to concentrate. a finance related company can helpā¦just my thoughts, pls nobody mistake me.
generally a profession should have 3 qualities namely better social status, good cash earning potential and very importantly we have to be passionate about it.i hope markets scores 2 and a half points out of 3.
i just want to add , look at NITHIN KAMATH , where he reach
yes good.agreedā¦but nithin is already rich, has girl friend, good ideas etcā¦
Guyz try to address him properly he is not your chaddi buddy he is owner of zerodhaā¦
nithin is our best friend.
ya zaid , i know NITHIN is the owner of ZERODHA , you are only seeing that he is the owner of ZERODHA but you are not thinking how hardwork he has to done to reach this platform , i just want to say you by taking your example that no matter what proffession you are doing but if you done hard work and become successful people will appreciate you , like you are appreciating nithin, I HOPE YOU JUST GOT MY POINT
i think all you people should stop trading , because in my view if you does not respect your proffession , life will not respect you!
yes definitely finding girl will be tougher unless society changes its viewā¦after marriage one can trade or he might have inherit parents with crores of rupees or can opt as secondary businessā¦im also in a postion og getting married but lill afraidā¦
HEY KARUNA, i just want you to clarify about your comment ppl from other backgrounds?
i think karunka something is wrong with your friend rajesh who is not able to find a girl because he is a trader , are you serious , i think you have crack a joke , watchout for your words before saying something!
