Does using disclosed quantity in order split one order into multiple orders?

I am new to Zerodha trading model, though not new to trading

I wish to know, if i use the disclosed quantity while placing the orders for buy/sell stocks (like, if i wish to buy 500 shares, and i put disclosed quantity as 100, it splits in chunks of 100 - 100, 50, 50, 100, 20, 80, 100).

So does each of them constitute separate orders? So, do i need to pay brokerage for each of the chunks separately (as zerodha charges per lot)?

Please help me to understand.

Hi,

When you give disclosed quality of 100 for buying 500 shares, the system will buy 100 first and then 100 an so on as per your split chunks. In this process your trade number will be different but your order number will be same for this trades.

Zerodha charges on the order numner, hence brokerage wil be charges once after the execution of complete order.
