i see that some option have only dash that the open and close is the same price what happens if we buy or sell such options
It is lack of liquidity.
If you enter a position and if there is a lack of counter offer to close your position, then you will be stuck.
If you are long, then theta decay will eat your premium, If you are short and ITM, then you will be asked to take delivery. Hope I have answered to your satisfaction
