Doubt regarding settlement and Negative Balance

My trading account balance was ₹0.60 on Friday. I sold all of my Liquidcase worth ₹44,000 and then bought some shares using the margin I received from selling the Liquidcase. Due to the DP charge deduction, my withdrawable balance is showing -₹14.99 in the console bcz of ₹.60 opeing balance. However, I will receive the settlement amount on Monday (T+1 day), which is around ₹2,332.

So, my question is: Will I receive the shares on monday that I bought with that margin money, since my trading account will be credited with ₹2,332 on Monday (i.e., the Liquidcase sold value - the value of shares bought with the margin and the total charges) even though my current withdrawable balance is -₹14.99?

Hey @Sayantan2003, certainly! You will be credited with the shares you purchased following a T+1 settlement cycle, which indicates the time needed for a trade to be settled. On Indian exchanges, all traded instruments follow a T+1 day settlement cycle, where T denotes the trading day. Consequently, your withdrawal balance may initially appear negative, but it will be corrected once the trade is settled, and your account balance is updated.
