Everything You Need to Know About Brookfield REIT IPO

The Brookfield REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) is India’s only institutionally managed public commercial real estate. Sponsored by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management (BAM), which is one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers with approximately US$550 billion in assets under management.

Brookfield’s Initial Portfolio comprises 14.0 msf with office parks located in Mumbai, Gurugram, Noida, and Kolkata. In addition, Brookfield has 8.3 msf in Call Option Properties and Rights Of First Offer on an additional 6.7 msf, both currently owned by members of the Brookfield Group.

Brookfield REIT will become the third REIT to list on exchanges after Embassy REIT and Mindspace REIT. Brookfield aims to raise Rs. 3800 through the public offering. For more information about you can refer to the IPO Prospectus filed by the company.

How do I apply for the Brookfield REIT IPO?

The UPI IPO method for applying is not yet available for REITs, you will have to apply using the Netbanking ASBA service provided by your bank.

You will need to enter the following details for your application:

  • Demat ID - This is a 16-digit number used to identify your demat account. It is unique for every client. You can find your demat ID under DP IDs on your Kite profile.

  • Depository - CDSL

  • DP Name - Zerodha

The application amount will be blocked in your bank account and will be deducted only if you receive an allotment of the units which will be added to your demat account.

I can’t find the bid option on zerodha Console of Brookfield IPO.
