Vidya Wires is a manufacturer of winding and conductivity products used in energy, electrical systems, electric mobility, railways, and clean energy applications. Established in 1981, the company has built a strong presence with a wide product portfolio that includes enameled wires, copper and aluminium conductors, busbars, PV ribbon, and specialised winding wires. Vidya Wires is the 4th largest player in the industry with 5.7% market share of installed capacity in FY25, supported by ISO-certified operations and UL approval for exports to the USA. Its facilities in Anand, Gujarat provide strategic access to key ports for both exports and raw material imports.
Over the years, the company has expanded capacity and customer reach, operating at 94.51% utilisation while serving over 450 customers without dependence on any single buyer. Vidya Wires plans to scale further by increasing total installed capacity from 19,680 MTPA to 37,680 MTPA through a new unit under its subsidiary, ALCU Industries. The company continues to diversify into new copper and aluminium product categories and follows sustainability practices, sourcing around 25% of power from renewable energy. With a broad product mix, industry certifications, and a derisked customer base, Vidya Wires is positioned for continued growth in domestic and global markets.
