How to exercise a call option on expiry day with the help of kite?
To exercise your Call Option it has to expire ITM, upon expiry if it is ITM depending on your position (Long/Short) you will be obliged to take delivery of underlying shares or give delivery of underlying shares. You can learn more about physical settlement here.
What about nifty options ?
Index Options are cash-settled. OTM Options will expire worthless and ITM Options will be settled by the exchange at the intrinsic value and credit/debit any profit or loss to/from your account.
How do i exercise that option in kite?
As mentioned above, you will have to let your Option position expire, if it expires ITM, it will be automatically exercised.
