I have bought shares of ASHOKLEY and NTPC as a CNC order during the morning, is it possible to sell them on the same day? or do I have to wait till they are in my Demat account? … when I try exiting the positions it shows an error saying “insufficient holdings or you are placing a short sell order using CNC. Try placing MIS/BO/CO”
You can sell them on the same day even if you buy using CNC.
You might be trying to sell more shares or you could have already placed pending order. So your order might have been rejected. Check your order book once.
