why has SEBI put this unnecessary margin? isn’t SPAN enough? no country in the world has this margin. communist mindset. their view is to reduce risk. F&O is risky and that’s the beauty of it. if you don’t have the appetite for it, then don’t trade. we should all pressurize SEBI to remove this stupid margin. and as NIFTY goes up this margin keeps going up too.

Our exchanges and regulators are extremely conservative and I guess it has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Helping markets remain fairly stable as systemic risks ease up a little while at an individual level, it may cost us a little to enter the trade. It’s a trade-off
