I tried to buy Jul futures but order rejected stating there’s not enough liquidity. I want to know the real reason as I see it is traded but I am unable to participate. can someone brief and guide me on this.
Zerodha just restricts you.
Hi @RupalPatel , if you were trying to place a market order in Nifty Jul futures, it will get rejected since market orders are blocked for far month futures due to low liquidity. You can place a limit order instead or use market protection.
Also, please DM your client ID or the exact contract you tried. Will get this checked.
