I would like to request a feature in Kite Holdings that allows users to hide the absolute Profit/Loss amount (₹) while continuing to display only the percentage return (%).
Currently, the Holdings page always displays both the ₹ P&L and the percentage return. Although Privacy Mode hides these values, it hides both the ₹ amount and the percentage, which isn’t ideal.
Many long-term investors and swing traders prefer evaluating portfolio performance based on percentage returns rather than the absolute rupee value. Large profit or loss amounts can create unnecessary emotional bias, even when the percentage change is relatively small.
It would be very useful to have a simple display option such as:
- Show ₹ P&L only
- Show % Return only
- Show Both
This would help investors focus on performance instead of the monetary value and would improve the overall investing experience.
I hope the product team will consider adding this feature in a future update.
