Feature Suggestion: Display (user's preferred) indicator values (ex: RSI) directly in Watchlist against/near the scrip/symbol for quick glance and faster decision-making!

Hi everyone,

I have a feature suggestion that could be very useful for active traders and investors.

Many users follow one or two key indicators like RSI, VWAP, EMA, SMA, MACD, Supertrend, etc. Currently, to check these values, we need to either open each chart individually or depend on alerts/notifications. This takes extra time, especially when tracking multiple stocks or indices.

It would be extremely helpful if the platform could show the selected indicator value directly in the watchlist, either beside the scrip name or just below the symbol.

For example:

This would allow users to get a quick glance at important indicator values and make faster decisions without opening charts repeatedly.

Even if only one custom indicator per watchlist is allowed initially, it would still be a very powerful feature. Users could choose their preferred indicator from settings and display its live/current value in the watchlist.

This can help with:

  • Faster screening of watchlist stocks/indices/commodities to trade
  • Better decision-making without constantly opening charts
  • Reduced dependency on multiple alerts
  • Cleaner workflow for traders following specific strategies

I believe this feature would add strong practical value to the watchlist and make the platform more useful for both traders and investors.

Cheers,
Bhargav

Not sure if offering on market watch will add extra value for large set of users, in fact it will complicate watch list. Alternative one can use streak to set alert on technical indicators.

It will definitely be helpful, I’ll tell you why. Most traders/investors will use charts and indicators, and will track few stocks be it recommended or self screened.

Just by showing their indicator’s value, like in the example I’ve given it only makes their life easier. No need to open multiple charts to track the indicator, no need to set alerts, or have notifications (these can become add-ons). When a trader or investor is getting what they want at a glance then it is simplifying the process.

As per the watchlist getting complicated, I’m sure adding 100 stocks in a watchlist also makes stocks tracking complicated, anyway you need to scroll up and down. However, if we’re tracking just 5-10 stocks of our interest this feature gives an instant view and makes decision making faster, which is key many a times.

It could be made optional feature, in case user doesn’t wants it. But, I’m sure lot of guys use indicators, and this only makes it easier. Just trade from the watchlist!
