Finding Cash, Non Cash Collateral & Cash Holding from Zerodha

Hi,

I want to buy more assets & pledge it. I understand there is a 1:1 Cash: Non-cash requirement. I have already pledged some assets. I have both cas/noncash & cash balance in my account. I do positional options selling.

I cannot figure out the distribution of this the way it is displayed in Zerodha Kite & Console. I want help in simplifying how much cash / non-cash component is exactly (current value) pledged in my account to date & cash holding is there so that I can allocate my funds better.

Nb: I am holding some positions now.

Hi @Mahadevan-Iyer

The Collateral (liquid funds) denotes all the cash equivalent collateral and collateral (equity) denotes all non cash collateral.

The total collateral is the sum of both cash and non cash collateral.

In your example,

Cash equivalent Collateral (Liquid funds is Rs. 1,71,930.60, whereas the non-cash (equity) component is Rs. 2,56,326.6
