FNO positions during stock split and bonus issues

What happens to a futures or options position you hold during a stock spit or a bonus issue ?

Exchanges put out circulars as and when explaining how the strike prices would be affected.

So for example if there is 1:5 split, lot size changes, and on the day of the split, all your open positions also change. So in case of bank of baroda, instead of 1 lot at say 1000, the next day you will have 5 lots at 200.

We at Zerodha share this on our circular tool as and when the exchange releases it, have a look: https://zerodha.com/marketintel/Circulars/

When do we know the exact split is going to take place ? It is obviously not on the day it has been declared . Is it going to be mentioned anywhere ?
