Why cant we initiate fresh short positions on nse in crudeoil during expiry?
As liquidity is high now for crude oil on nse. Option selling should be allowed on expires like other brokers
hey as of now we were not allowing because of liquidity.

It has almost no volume? How do you manage your traders ? Just curious
Options do have volume when it’s closer to expiry. It has better volumes than zinc and copper options. Crude oil futures do not have volumes in nse still. Also recently nse shifted the expiry day for crude oil options. So it’s on a different day than mcx.

Plz allow option selling in nco
Option selling is allowed in crudeoil NCO.
Only on the option expiry day its not allowed due to illiquidity. We are planning on allowing it from coming months.
