Fund Transfer notification didn't recieved

Hi @nithin,

I generally use this platform for sharing feedback & to discuss improvement possibilities for Zerodha platform.

Recently I have been facing huge technical problems which is hurting my trading business.

1/ Last time it was option strike unavailability for which I miss huge trading opportunity. I hope you already aware at today Zerodha fail to be sync with exchange & to open certain options strike if underline give larger move. Like if if TataChem moves 10% today, Zerodha will not be able outer strike due to its constraints and dependency with third party vendor. You would be surprised to know I had fight for 5 months and went to Arbitration to prove my point and finally got the judgement in favour of mine.

2/ There was “Real Time” price update failure in #KITE Position tab for client who having large number of positions. You can understand how important it is to see the MTM/PNL on real time basis. The issue is fixed via support ticket - 20240731138922 after my long followup and after I produce a recorded screen video. This should have been an easy regression test. All this hampers trading decisions which hurts ROI.

3/ Today (12-Aug-2024), I purchased OLA with my existing available balance & with high eagerness to buy more initiate fund transfer of 2,00,000 Zerodha failed to send the transfer notification. I have attached the screenshot and showed when Zerodha used gateway of YesBank it failed to send the notification but for ICICIBank it was smooth. But in the mean time #OLA locked into upper circuit and I couldn’t make the investment. The whole issue can be tracked into support ticket - 20240812691646

I don’t know if you are notified with such technical issues but this really hurts profitability of daily investor/trader. Hope you will understand.

Thanks,

Thanks for sharing your feedback @Anirban_Chatterje

The notification request is not controlled by the merchant or the bank of the merchant sending the request. This is dependent on the UPI app one uses. Once you trigger the UPI collect request, even if your app has not sent you the push notification, you can check the payment request within the UPI app. Although we receive confirmation of the payments, the merchant (in this case, Zerodha) does not get to see if the UPI app has sent the push notification.

The bank or payment gateway we use will only trigger the payment request to your UPI app.

Exactly this is what I mentioned in the support before reading your reply.

The push notification is not sent by the bank which Zerodha use as gateway.
For this case YesBank failed to send this.

Now whose side fault is this and who should answer?

If it’s fault of Yes Bank, still I am accessing it via Kite platform only. So you can’t redirect me to Bank directly right?
