Is there any website which gives an idea about how PE value of stock has behaved historically. Or any similar fundamental sites?
Yes, you can find historical P/E from many data vendors online.
Some of the most commonly used ones are Tickertape and Screener and Moneycontrol, they are for the most part free to use, but in depth ratios and fundamental require a nominal subcription, although useful only if you data crunch a lot.
I follow www.screener.in ,
https://www.ratestar.in/ personally but there are other places as well like investyadnya and finology ticker where you can track historic PE and median PE as well
Yes, StockEdge provides historical PE ratios for stocks. It offers easy-to-use tools that allow you to track the PE value trends over time, along with other financial ratios. You can analyze the stock’s historical performance and make more informed decisions based on its PE behavior and other fundamental metrics.
Along with technical analysis, fundamental analysis is also important. As a trader, I study the historical performance of ratios, which helps me track company performance. Some ratios which I study are:
- PE Ratio : PE Ratio measures the relationship between the company’s current stock price and EPS (Earnings Per Share).
- ROE : It measures how well a company generates profits from equity capital. It’s calculated by dividing a company’s net income by its shareholders’ equity.
- Debt-to-equity ratio : It compares a company’s debt to its equity.
My analysis is made easier by the historical performance that I can access on the Top Stock Research website.
