Want to know how Future sell price adjustment ex dividend date.
Please explain with the example of upcoming dividend event of HUL Rs. 24 dividend ex date 23/06/2025
The dividend is below 2% of its price, so it’s not considered extraordinary. No adjustment will be made to F&O contracts on the ex-date.
The price drop is expected but already factored in, so it won’t impact your futures position. @girishh
