There are plenty of big and small stock exchanges around the world, some major markets are

If there is Global news that can affect markets across the world (take COVID-19 for example) then yes other markets too follow suit. US Markets have the biggest effect on markets worldwide.

Yes correct, similar is the case with European Eunion and China. USA is the largest trading partner of both.
