I am not that convinced about use of GTT., as I feel it is not behaving well in high volatility days like yeasterday. For those who are not looking markets full time. How do you add stop loss? other than GTT any options
What did you face??can you be more specific like
which stock/future /option you traded.
What is your gtt?
What happened like triggered but not executed etc?

Feels same here GTT or OCO can’t handle scalping for me I have 5 points stoploss and 5 points target…may be 10% of your total trades will trigger target trigger price but reverses and hits Stop loss
share khan has OCO and Angel broking also offers robo orders which has higher probability percentage…in Angel you should buy only with limit price
I am into stocks (cash)… So I would prefer to keep a stop loss as protective order incase sharp move happens against position. But on Monday it opened lower and couple of them moved below my stop losses. It did not get triggered. I had to delete those orders and manually exit positions as I was available to do same. But in case I am not available infront of screen I still want to exit those positions if it goes below certain levels. Not sure why GTT did not trigger. But now I am not convinced about same in high volatility environment as protective orders.
