GTT Order Page Problem in Zerodha Kite App

When GTT Triggers it don’t Update Order Status until we refresh page.
It should Update GTT Status similar to Open Order Status.
@Zerodha-Staff

Do you notice this on the kite web or app? Triggered GTT, placed an order successfully or rejected?

Mobile app Android. same on multiple devices.
It should greyed out on triggered automatically. but it only gets updated on refresh/ swipe down.
and this issue exist from so long. from almost year

it doesn’t matter if order is successful or rejected. it happens on both conditions. simply it don’t update automatically.
order executes or get rejected in background if not authorized but GTT page don’t update order triggered status. until we refresh.

GTT (Good-Till-Triggered) orders are designed for long-term use, allowing users to set orders that execute only when a specified trigger is hit. If you’re looking for an immediate execution and are actively monitoring the market, a regular order would be more suitable.

As for page refreshes, when you navigate from other pages to the GTT section, the app automatically refreshes and retrieves the latest status. Given the nature of GTT orders, continuous streaming updates aren’t required for this page, and the current refresh should suffice I think. This functionality has been in place for years and hasn’t changed recently.

This should act like order page orders.
Because imagine if I placed GTT Today & I’m monitoring only GTT Page. without navigating to other pages. and this happens naturally. It’s just misleading for me. because even if GTT is executed or rejected it don’t get updated. It’s Just non sense.
GTT status should update immediately. This is what UX means.

It’s not Fully true. GTT Can be used for same day order execution. so it’s not just for Long term. GTT (Good-Till-Triggered) it self explanatory. Good till triggered.
GTT Are designed for Good Till Triggered. not for Long Term. so need to correct your thoughts about GTT.

& It doesn’t mean if something is there from years it doesn’t prove it’s right.
GTT orders needs to be updated immediately to inform user current status.
& Technically also it’s not hard implementation. it don’t cost extra resources.
