GTT (specificaly OCO orders) for stock futures

So I am not psychologically hard enough to continuously take fno trades. Have dabbled occasionally and percentage wise I do have a decent strategy (helped due to a small watchlist) but I find that I tend to take small profits quickly while that 1 losing trade wipes out those profits (and more).

The treatment for this is taking a trade and then moving away from the system so that I don’t track the profit/loss tick by tick. The best way to do it is by using the oco option in gtt and set the target and sl limits. However according to the info available, gtt can be used only for intraday or nifty/bn futures…is this feature available for stock futures as well?

GTT can be used fot stock futures as well.
GTT can be used only for CNC type orders in the Equity Cash segment on NSE & BSE and NRML type orders in the Equity Derivatives segment on NSE.

Thank you…does this mean we can use the oco function for fno normal trades for intraday?

You can. Even if you’re using NRML product type, you can exit your position on the same day.
