Haircut 100% for IDFC

Hi,

I had pledged IDFC shares for FNO trading, suddenly I see the margin available is 0 since the haircut has been increased to 100%, can someone explain the reason for increase to 100%.

Thanks

IDFC stock was added to the ASM list recently - Circular NSE/SURV/48080.

As explained in this support page , the collateral margin for stocks in the ASM list is reduced to zero -

Note: In cases where a stock you have pledged is moved under ASM, you will no longer be provided collateral margins for that stock, because, as per ASM 100% margin should be levied. The collateral value (shown on the trading terminals) will reduce by the value of collateral received against that stock.

@Prayag Thanks for the answer, looks like SEBI will ensure only PhDs can trade.
