Half-yearly Interest payout on pledged GSecs

Hi everyone,

I have pledged GSecs for collateral margin. Will I be eligible for the interest payout receivable from the GSecs on a half-yearly basis after pledging?
For e.g. I have pledged 5.22 GS 2025. Will I be eligible for the 5.22% annual interest from this bond after pledging.

Even if the security is pledged it’s in your demat account in a pledged state. You will be eligible for the coupon rate, please note that the coupon will be paid semi manually so of the 5.22% coupon you will get 2.61%.
