Hands-on experience of fyers?

Can anyone please share their experience with Fyers trading account?
Is there any hidden charges? Is it a trustable broker?

I am using it since 2019. No problem whatsoever. Way better trading tools than zerodha. And updating there system more quickly than zerodha. I highly suggest using fyers who is giving far otm option selling than zerodha.

Far otm selling everyone allows, its buying otm which is not allowed in Zerodha without selling first.

N O.

Can you please elaborate why “NO”?

When i wanted to open an account with them. They said Aaadhar is mandatory, which was completely false.

Every other broker in the country can open a account without aadhar , but not fyers.

then they said without aadhar we cannot open account this is our rule from our boss.

So in essence they think they are above the law.

This alone makes you wonder what other “laws” they have internally.

Suggest you to stay away from them simply because they think they are above the law.

Not true, for every broker if you try open account in online mode they would need Aadhar for online Sign. For offline app, i don’t know the process as its more tedious and cumbersome .But as all the online account will require aadhar so i don’t see as some big bottleneck. None of the broker is perfect it will depends upon user to user what broker is suited as per there need.

I was trying to open a account offline. For offline they said aadhar was mandatory.

None of the brokers are perfect , but they are not above the law.

Charges wise, its ok, comparable to Zerodha. Trustwise - how much money do retailers put in ? You should only put in that much money which you are comfortable to lose. Even with my bank’s demat a/c I do not put more than enough (or it will be tempting to use all and lose all).

Featurewise - they claim that they have TradingView charts, now that is no more an edge, even Zerodha provides that. What I was ( and still ) looking for is that the chart should stay on top and other windows could come and go (I think only Upstox provides this or maybe other brokers desktop app, not the windows app).

Dont like the arrangement in their watchlist window, Zerodha is better.

Yeah, they do allow you to buy far OTM options (but their policy keeps changing, mostly they do allow, but you have to keep yourself updated on their bulletin board).

One thing wihch I think only Zerodha provides is GTT. ( and with options this is the thing which i wanted ).

Dont like their presentation in back office, takes sometime to figure out and explain things. Cannot get a tradebook, P/L book like Zerodha, have to do a lot of rearranging when submitting to CA.

Overall, Zeordha is better.
