Is it mandatory to use stop loss when we hedge in option trading or can we cover loss in hedge?
It depends on what type of hedge we have taken .
For example: for hedges, where loss is defined already, there’s no need of SL
Whereas there are some trades where hedges only cover some part of the risk , for them, u can keep an SL (either in system or keep a tentative figure in ur head)
