Hi,
How can we define a condition where the EMA20 IS HIGHER THAN EMA 50 for past 5 candles?
Thanks in advance.
Refer to the below condition shared for EMA 20 > Daily EMA 50 for the last 5 consecutive candles:
Hope this helps.
-
For MIS trades using 1-hour candles, do the values at 9:15 AM reflect the beginning of the candle, or do they correspond to the end of the candle at 10:15 AM?
-
Similarly, for the 3:15 PM candle, do the results reflect 3:15 PM clock time, or should they be at 3:30 PM, the end of the candle?
- Kindly note that Streak generates triggers only after the closing of the base timeframe candle and not on an LTP basis. This is because Streak uses OHLC data and this data is only available after a candle closes.
For example - In a 1-hour timeframe, if the entry time in the backtest is shown as 9:15, the actual entry price will correspond to the opening price of the 10:15 candle.
- During backtests, when using the MIS order type, the positions will be squared off by 15:15 at the opening price of the 15:15 candle as an exception. For CNC/NRML order type, exits at 15:15 will be executed at the next day’s opening, which is the 9:15 candle opening.
Hope this clarifies the doubts.
I would like to understand the calculation of cumulative profit percentage. I believe it should be approximately 16.6% instead of 39%, as cumulative results are based on 50,000. Could you confirm if my understanding is correct?
Kindly note that the initial capital mentioned represents a hypothetical currency, and the entire sum of 1 Lakh isn’t utilized. It is calculated based on the entry price on the first trade and the number of quantities bought. It is determined based on the entry price of the first trade and the quantity purchased. I am looking for a scanner where I can choose to scan on nifty 500 stocks and filter only those that are within 150 to 200 rs.
