High Central Pivot Range

I want to find stocks where today’s CPR is narrow and is completely above (gap-up) the yesterdays CPR range. Is there any algo or screener available to find the same?

You can refer to the below image to learn how to create the scanner conditions:

The scanner will generate results when the lowest among today’s BC and TC is higher than the highest among yesterday’s BC and TC and the range of today’s ‘BC-TC’ is lower than 0.2% of the PP(you can change the percentage as per your requirements of narrow range)

You can certainly create conditions for historical CPR. As a workaround, you can simplify the formula for Top CPR as explained below: Pivot = (High + Low + Close)/3 Bottom CPR = (High + Low)/ 2 Top CPR = (Pivot – BC) + Pivot = { [(High + Low + Close)/3] - [(High + Low)/ 2] } + [(High + Low + Close)/3] = [ (2Close - High - Low)/6 ] + [(High + Low + Close)/3] = (6Close - 3High - 3Low + 6High + 6Low + 6Close)/18 = (3High + 3Low + 12Close)/18 …
