Today’s day change percentage in price showing everywhere at -4.7% to -4.9%. Why is it showing on my zerodha kite app watchlist as well as in portfolio as around -1%. Anybody noticed this? If anybody can clarify why I am seeing like this?
Today is ex-dividend date for Hindustan Zinc, the previous closing price on Kite is adjusted according to the dividend paid. The previous closing price is adjusted on the ex-date of the corporate action to give the correct interpretation of price movement on the ex-date.
