In streak scanner, when you select hourly time frame and choose a strategy based on pivots, it gives results taking into account the daily pivots. Assuming both were of the same value, I checked on the charts but they are different (daily being the same for whole month while hourly the same for a week) So how do you specify the scanner to use hourly pivots when selecting hourly timeframe?
Used “General” category as the streak option was “backtesting”
Streak uses hourly candle for weekly pivot, same as chartIQ charts. If you are getting a different result, please send a screenshot of your condition to [email protected]. The will help you with your condition.
Does it? I had contacted the support at streak and they replied to me after market hours that the feature is not available at the present time. You are getting weekly pivots when using hourly candle?
This is by default, no additional setting is required for this.
With Streak you cannot change pivot timeframe to monthly or other timeframes currently. It will take monthly pivot for daily timeframe and weekly for hourly,
