What are the revenue sources for Finvasia. From many articles I have read unlike US in India there is no dark pool or alternative options to generate income for brokers. So how does some one like Finvasia generate revenue to cover its operational cost? (I could not find any proper discussions in tradingqna if it is available please direct me towards it)

I think I read somewhere, can’t find the link now though. Anyway, they are mostly into HNI client, which makes them generate revenue. And brokerage is not the only source from where a broker earns. They have other charges like- DP charges rs.9, lower than what is charged by other brokers but still they are charging, then there is POA cost. So if you look into it, brokerage is not the only cost you pay to a broker.

They are only charging for:
DP: 9/-
Pledge: 20/-
Unpledge: 20/-
Cons:
- MF pledging is not avl as of now
- They have API but only with Algo partners, no library
