Hi
I was seeing the exported chart of a stock. There were price points for the stock when the volume traded is 0. My query is how the stock price can get recorded when volume traded is 0? What should be interpretted about it? Below is the Date-OHLCV data
2/19/2016 14:50 76.25 76.25 76.25 76.25 0

You must remember that there is no price movement without volume. If the volume is equal to zero (no trades occurred) a security’s price remain unchanged at the close price of the previous transaction (when volume was not equal to zero). The price movement is always accompanied by volume and single price analysis delivers only half of the picture. Only an analysis of volume and price together can provide a complete and accurate picture of a trend
Hi
I totally understand your point and I rechecked the chart. I believe in a 1-minute chart a volume 0 implies that no shares were traded at that minute? As you mentioned the price did not change.
