i’ve come across a guy who attended his training but was a total waste as you can learn elliott wave free…he was an IT guy & a failed trader who is minting money with expensive trainings. his business model is to push his trainees to market his course…i would rather put all my energy to learn, design, backtest & build strategy …
yes these are the techniques we traders want to get hold of, accelerate learning. Yes there are youtube videos but so many of them youtube throws up are simply crap and are attempt to make money through youtube views !!
well then in my opinion you should go ahead & attend such paid trainings & get 1st hand experience rather than seeking opinions as you may always stay confused…
We get a lot of questions about how this course is and hows is the trainer. Its legit question but i would say answers lies with the person itself.
The ugly truth is- trading/investing is like PG degree course (2 year Full time study) it cannot be covered with one seminar or some course. Its more of Probabilities, news, latest development, Psychology, technical fundamental etc. Its combination of nuanced study of science and art. So every one develops there own niche.Trial and error and finding whats suits you.
Even If i teach you a simple vanilla strategy( simple as a coin toss ) , 33% will win , 33% will loose , 33% will break even. Thats how markets are.
Most people fails to understand that things takes lot of effort ,time and money. You fail many times than you succeed then fail then succeed . Thats why we have huge market of training and tipsters ,selling dream of earning quick bucks.
I am not against any trainers , but people should understand if you follow someone then follow at least 2- 3 months and try it out before taking any paid training. There are ample content available on Youtube, varsity other blogs. After understanding how that person playing in the market then decide if you want to go deep learning then go for that training . Then it would be beneficial, otherwise you are just buying Dreams and not learning anything . Market is the best trainer.
Don’t take training thinking they would provide some pill which you swallow and become successful. A teacher is good as its student. Everyone providing and taking course have teaching skills and some content to provide. Its up to the person to judge whether its his use or not. Learning and taking positive out of it is the key.
So ask yourself what you want to learn in the market, then research as much as you can and then research free content of that teacher. Then if you feel its worth taking it then take the course.
I spent 6 years in Markets, and an Working professional, changed my working field from Network Analyst to Data Scientist (IT and Data Science).
My Fav quote is “There’s no Holy Grail to Make Money in Markets !!!” besides only way is to keeping losses capped by position sizing, Hedges and SL.
So Basically if I am not losing money is Markets , then I will be definitely on other side.
Cheers !!!
Never paid to So called Stock Market courses, Zerodha Varsity saved my day, before I could think for paid courses. Be conservative and always doubts what paid courses are offering.Ask Questions when in doubt!
Never under estimate free material available on Net , because it’s free. For same thing you will paying to paid instructors.
Before going for and thinking of making money in Markets, Look for discipline, character, stable cash flows (Full Time Job).
We never know whats happening next, Build, Develop, Discover for good .
P.s-- As Developer, Keenly working on Stats ,Data and trying to figure ways to make data more meaningful though markets are random.
I would suggest you to consider VRD Nation
Although I haven’t attended but can sense the quality through VRD Rao’s youtube channel
Day trader telugu in youtube has great content related to trading, there are 2 channels whereas 2.0 is a new one with structured learning
I am not a trader but my trading friends suggested
How did you find out that he is a failed trader? In his YouTube videos, he regularly shares his profitable trades.
Can you share something that I can see to know that he is a failed trader?
I keep seeing his ads and watching videos but not joined the course yet.
Once I watched a old video of Ramdev Baba. He told a very beautiful and in the same time ugly truth. Someone asked him that you are a Yogi then why are you asking for money for attending your yoga lessons? Baba replied once I taught yoga for free only 5 people came. Now I am charging fees thousand are coming. If you do something for free people might ignore you thinking it is crap.
We are really fortunate to have zerodha varsity and such a good mentor. They are teaching both in literal as well as video format. And this so called seminars not even covering 1% of it and charging hefty amount. If you want to learn you should go to varsity and read it like Bible but you will not go there because it is free.
Indian stock market courses are like most of the Indian TV programs. Remake what was popular in US in the past. They always collected parts of mark minerveni and iCT and made a unique course for Indians
