I have just started investing. I invested 1000 lumpsum in mf and 998.92 rupees is shown as money invested and expense ratio if fund is 0.14 so how is the deducted amount calculated.

Stamp duty is getting deducted from the amount we pay, so 1.08 is stamp duty, not expense ratio.
Expense ratio is deducted from the NAV, only after taking out the expense ratio, NAV is announced.
