If I pledge a security today, how long can I get the margin available in my funds even if I do not trade stocks. What is the interest per day in zerodha if funds( margin) stay in the wallet?
The securities will remain pledged until you unpledge. There is no interest charged.
When trading with collateral margin, if you have overnight positions you have to maintain minimum 50% margins in cash or cash equivalent and remaining 50% can come from non-cash collateral.
