In public companies like TITAN how much percentage of shares should one own to get voting rights invitation for big events? Or it is sent to everyone even if the person holds 1 share?
You get 1 vote for 1 share in most companies. Some give in a predefined ratio (like 1 vote for 10 shares). So, no matter how little you own of a company, you have the right to vote (I have owned 1 or 2 shares of companies and voted on them).
what if i possess 9 shares ; my friend possess 1 share .
both of us loose the voting right or we can combine our shares and cast one vote ?
no you both loose the rights then. that much I know. but who casts on your behalf or if the overall no of votes is decreased, i don’t know.
1 person for 1 vote , Min 1 share to …n number of shares
