I want to know how much % return trader can earn from day or positional Stock Futures trading?

Before thinking about earning, prepare for losing in first few years. So trade with small capital.
Yes, following strict SL. But curious that practically how much % returns pro traders are getting in a year.
yes, we will lose even with SL. Perhaps more slowly, but depends on risk taken.
Anyway, judge it yourself, but beware that most people have to lose initially, and most seem to think that this does not apply to them. And no guarantee of success for many years if at all.
But, we can trade for living.
We have to be happy, very happy, with say 20-30% compounded returns with 10-20% max drawdown from peak . We can do better, decently better too, but i think that is a figure that is reasonably achievable with active trading, scaled until market allows.
There is no point in thinking about how much others are making. Some guy might be making say 1000%. Good for him, but its not useful for you and will set unrealistic expectation which leads to taking too much risk.
With this, also one can understand that we need good capital to make trading worth it.
And must put back earnings into trading and compound. Good luck.
