How much time does it take for SGB to get credited to demat?

I want to know If i buy SGB in secondary market, how much time it will take for them to be credited to my demat account. I have found it is generally higher than T+1 but don’t know how much

If you are buying from secondary market then SGBs will be credited to your demat account on T+1 day.

If you are investing in new issue of SGB, then the allotment and credit can take up to 15 days.

if I buy SGB from market does it still eligible for “No capital Gains” if hold till maturity.

Got it!! I confirmed this by looking at my emails from CDSL about credit and debit. It is indeed T+1. What actually confused me was that It was not showing in the holdings section of zerodha kite and hence I thought that they have not been credited yet
