How long does it take on average to receive the corresponding confirmation email from CDSL after buying equity?
I’m still awaiting mine. I bought equity last week - long term.
Does the broker show it in your holdings? Usually, the CDSL mail arrives first, and then the shares appear in your holdings with the broker.
Yes, Kite shows the same in holdings. The CDSL email arrives later.
For me, the CDSL mail comes on T+1 day night, and Kite shows it on the morning of T+2, by 8.30 am.
Email should come by next trading day. If it’s shown in CDSL holdings, it just means it’s a bug (email part not being delivered) or it’s in your spam folder.

It shows in CDSL holdings now, yet to receive an email for all of them though
No point waiting now. Been more than a week
I thought that too but then wondered how much of a factor are holidays. 15th was off and then the weekend, so if its business days only, could it come by 19th or 20th.
